My name is Mitchell Jacob.  I was born in central Indiana and I still live here.  I live in a neighborhood with a small pond, less than an acre (Don't even try to ask the location).  This is the story of my fishing adventures at that pond and in other locations in my "backyard," as well as locations I will travel to in the future.

My two main fishing friends are Bobby and Charles.  I have known Bobby since about third grade, and we started fishing together heavily at the start of middle school.  He has been fishing all his life.  Bobby plans to live in Florida after he graduates high school to pursue his dream of becoming a charter boat captain. 
I met Charles in 7th grade when he moved here from Canada.  His family lived near the Bow River in Canada for a few years, and they enjoyed some incredible trout fishing.  Charles introduced me to fly fishing and fly tying.  He enjoys fly fishing more than Bobby does, and we tie our own fly patterns.  Charles also fishes bass tournaments on his high school teams

We all fish mainly for bass, carp, panfish, catfish, or whatever else we can get our hands on. Next year, we are all going different places, but hopefully I will meet new people to fish with in college and continue to find time to fish with my friends.
